DJM live site: rebates, Level 2 and EV
Review pack, 20 Oct 2026. Draft, nothing is live. From the 15 Oct DJM catch-up (ClickUp task 14zda9v5776). For DJM's current live site only. Each page preview is the real live page with the new copy swapped in: orange outlines mark every change, and the bottom bar shows the Google title and meta.
What changed, and why
- The site still promotes the NSW battery rebate, which ended on 1 July 2025. It's replaced everywhere by the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount.
- The "Cheaper Home Batteries Interest-Free Loan" Dak mentioned is really the NSW Government's Home Energy Saver zero-interest loan (up to $15,000, delivered by Brighte and Plenti). No lender is named on the page.
- The discount is described as around 30%, the government's own wording, with the full rate on the first 14 kWh.
- Menus: "Accredited" becomes "Level 2" (Dak asked on the call), and the rebate link becomes "Battery Rebates".
Stage 1: the rebate page
- Battery rebates pageRewritten: hero, how it works, what's available (federal discount, Home Energy Saver loan, VPP incentive, old NSW rebate closed), all 8 FAQs, title and meta. URL stays the same.
Stage 2: rebate lines on other pages, plus menus
- Solar batteriesFAQ "Are there government rebates for solar batteries?" now names the programs and links to the rebate page.
- Solar panels"Cost Savings" line and the incentives FAQ now name the federal STC discount.
- Solar power NewcastleThe "NSW Government Solar Battery Rebate" card is now "Battery Rebates and Loans".
- Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, Central CoastThe rebate line in each location page's service list.
- Header and footer menus, every page"Accredited" to "Level 2"; "NSW Government Solar Battery Rebate" to "Battery Rebates".
Stage 3: the Level 2 page
- Level 2 pageTitle and meta only (shown in the bottom bar). Old title: "Accredited Commercial & Residential Electrical Experts Newcastle". New: "Level 2 Electrician Newcastle & Hunter | DJM Electrical". "level 2 electrician" is about 1,900 searches a month with low competition (Ubersuggest, Australia) and the Google Ads account's third-best keyword, 17 leads lifetime.
Stage 4: the EV chargers page
- EV chargers pagePushes EV charger content and keywords harder: new hero, a "Level 2 EV charger or Level 2 electrician?" section, home, solar and business charging, eight FAQs (cost, install time, charger types, solar, three-phase, switchboard, rebates, apartments), title and meta. DJM's own six-point list and feature lines stay. No price shown.
The "battery in the Level 2 heading" question: adding one word wouldn't be keyword stuffing, but the Level 2 page is about network work, not batteries, so the heading stays as it is. Batteries are covered by the rebate page.
Open before anything goes live
- Re-check the Clean Energy Regulator page that the rebate tiers are unchanged on the day we push.
- Optional, for the EV page: if DJM name the charger brands they install (e.g. the Tesla Wall Connector, about 390 searches a month, Ubersuggest, Australia), we can add them.
DJM are confirmed as set up to offer Home Energy Saver loans (Jack, 20 Oct).
How it goes live
Through our Partner Bridge plugin: every page is backed up first and can be restored exactly, one unchanged page is pushed as a test, then the edits go up, the cache is cleared and every page is checked live. Text swaps only, so no layout, image or style changes.
